Custom
Built Clubs
At
Club Masters we custom build golf clubs to exacting specifications
not achievable in sets mass produced in a factory. Up to
15 specifications are set during the process.

Frequency
matching is at the core of the Club Masters club building process.
Shafts are measured and selected for the correct raw frequency
and then progressively trimmed so that all clubs in the set match
for flex. This provides the golfer with the same flex feel throughout
the set.
From
this painstaking matching procedure, through to accurate swing
weighting, grip sizing, custom loft and lie setting and proper ferrule finishing,
we are proud of the clubs we build.
Clubheads,
shafts and grips
The
best clubheads, shafts and grips are sourced from the leading
manufacturers in the industry during regular trips to golf companies
and trade shows in the US. Manufacturers are selected on the basis
of quality and design and for their ability to build in technology
that offers real benefit to player performance.
To
give you a taste of what's available, a few examples of products
we have had great success with are listed below. But it should
be noted that there are many others of equal quality that we also
use to suit our clients' requirements and tastes.
| Tom Wishon Golf Technology iron designs range from classic double forged blades for accomplished players, to smart easy to hit cavity back models that inspire confidence in mid to high handicappers.
The award winning Wishon 770CFE is the first set of irons designed with thin, variable thickness faces. As the loft increases through the set, the face material changes for differential face deflection and impact feel. Truly game improving.

The thin spring-face Wishon 720 drivers are specially engineered exclusively for golfers with slow swing speeds. Matching fairways are available in lofts of up to 25°. |

The Wishon 515 GRT Driver has a vertically flat face design (0o roll), which ensures a consistent launch angle for any impact position.
While all titanium drivers offered at Club Masters have the maximum spring face effect, maximum .830 COR in the 515 fairway woods is a Wishon design first.

No design gets closer to being a true hybrid club than the Wishon 321 Hybrid. These clubs are remarkably easy to hit. They take a matching .335” tip diameter shaft that gives a 4o increase in launch angle over conventional .370” irons shafts. |

Wishon Smooth Series high MOI, low friction putters have tungsten bar weighting that also serves as a user friendly alignment aid. A weight cavity that accepts tungsten discs ensures a perfectly balanced putter at any length.

The Maltby Logic Lady woods, utility woods and irons get the ball nicely airborne and are in the super game improvement category. This range of designs allows for custom sets to match a wide variety of needs. Game improvement is highly likely. |

The Snake Eyes range has a product for every type of golfer. As a clubfitter, Rene's favourite model is the Quick Strike II utility wood, available in lofts of up to 31o. These woods are ideal for golfers looking for woods to replace long and mid irons. |

Shafts
The
shaft is critical to the performance of all golf clubs.
Shaft fitting is central to Rene's custom fitting process and
shaft frequency matching is at the core of the custom build
process. To this end, Club Masters uses the best performing, most consistent
shafts available from the industry leaders: True
Temper, Royal Precision (Rifle), MCC - Apache, Grafalloy, UST, Wishon Golf Technology
and Aldila.
 Club Masters is the only Certified Rifle Centre in the UK. As a graduate of the Royal Precision Rifle School, held in the USA, Rene is recognised as one of the most knowledgeable clubmakers in the building and re-shafting of golf clubs using Rifle and Royal Precision shafts.

select from the best in golf to match the ideal shaft to
your swing and your performance needs.
Grips
It
will be no surprise to you that we use the best grips in
the business: Golf Pride, Lamkin,
Winn, and Avon. All
models from these leading companies are available.
And
like other aspects of our custom services, we go the extra
mile in ensuring your grip is right for you. Guiding your
choice from a large selection of grips so that you are comfortable
with the feel, we then fit the grip so that it is the correct
size for both of your hands.
