Rene's hunch was right!

After custom made golf clubs changed her game, Rene switched careers from research scientist to professional clubmaker. And she has never looked back.

Starting out as a custom clubfitter for the Denver based company, Lange Golf, provided valuable experience with one of the first US club manufacturers to focus on custom fitted clubs.

Next came a successful custom golf business in Colorado, offering custom fitted, precision made golf clubs.

This success paved the way for Club Masters in Cheltenham, which thrives on a reputation for excellence in professional club fitting, custom club making and high customer satisfaction.

Rene holds clubmakings's highest qualifications of CLASS "A" Clubmaker and CLASS "A" Clubfitter from the Professional Clubmakers' Society, and Advanced Clubmaker from the Golf Clubmakers' Association.

2001 European Clubmaker of the Year

Highly respected by her peers, Rene received the award of 2001 European Clubmaker of the Year from the Professional Clubmakers' Society.

Continuing Education is Key to Success

Befitting someone with a doctorate, Rene continues a search for knowledge and possesses a dedication to share what she knows with others. An active member of the PCS Education and Training Committee, Rene helped to develop and teaches in the PCS Advanced Club Fitting School, that is presented at the PCS headquarters in Louisville, Kentucky. Rene also developed the guidelines for the PCS Masters Program and is an instructor in the PCS Class A Clubfitter exam preparation seminar, held each year at the PCS Expo and Symposium in Louisville.

2005 International Clubmaker of the Year

In 2005, Rene was the winner of the most prestigious award in the clubmaking profession: 2005 International Clubmaker of the Year. The PCS Clubmaker of the Year program seeks to recognise outstanding professional clubmakers for excellence in craftsmanship, customer service and contributions to furthering the clubmaking profession. Rene now belongs to an elite club of world-class equipment professionals.
